Salida CO is a cute mountain town with charming shops and restaurants. The downtown streets end in a vista of Rocky Mountains.
There's also a small and well-used park along the river, which rushes alongside the downtown.
Stopping in Salida CO on the way to points north, we had some tasty ice cream at The Sweet Spot. It would be fun to return for a vacation, to shop and eat in Salida CO.
